BHG - Implementing the 2025 Tet tree planting program, from February 3 (the 6th day of Tet) to February 28, the whole province planted nearly 615 thousand trees, including more than 502 thousand forestry trees and over 112 thousand landscape trees.

According to the assessment of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, the Tree Planting Festival Program has received the participation and response of districts, cities, many agencies, units and a large number of people. The organization of the Tree Planting Festival ensures practicality, efficiency, and is not ostentatious or formal. The selected tree species are suitable for the climate and soil conditions, and have the ability to grow and develop well. The Tree Planting Festival Program of the Year of the Snake in 2025 will continue to be implemented until March 15.
Through the implementation of the Tree Planting Festival, we continue to concretize President Ho Chi Minh's teachings "For the benefit of ten years, we must plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, we must cultivate people" and his advice when visiting Ha Giang on March 27, 1961 "We must pay more attention to protecting forests and planting trees to create forests"; at the same time, strive to complete the target of increasing forest coverage associated with the Prime Minister's Project to plant 1 billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025 in the province.
