At the final round of the Beehive Startup Challenge 2024 held on July 28, many people expressed their excitement when most of the young people's ideas were aimed at products with traditional values, contributing to environmental protection.

Notable is the business idea of ​​decorative products from Vietnamese bamboo of group 5MIX - FPT Polytechnic College Da Nang. The group proposed the business idea of ​​decorative products from Vietnamese bamboo, developing traditional craft villages.

The project named TRELAVI builds and develops a website platform connecting craftsmen to the market to sell products such as bamboo vases, bamboo trays, bamboo shelves... from craft villages.

Huynh Trong Dat, leader of 5MIX group, said: "By focusing on handmade bamboo products, the group not only contributes to protecting the environment but also preserves and promotes the traditional cultural beauty of the country."

In addition, the traditional fish sauce business project of Ba Duoc group aims to carry out the final step in the chain, helping people in traditional fish sauce villages feel secure in production, and is also highly appreciated for its social significance.

From that idea, the group was able to generate tens of millions of VND in revenue per month in the early days of implementing the idea.

The idea of ​​distributing traditional fish sauce of Ba Duoc group brings in tens of millions of dong in revenue every month.

Notably, group LC2 - students from Lien Chieu High School (Da Nang) won first prize in the contest with the idea of ​​making biodegradable plastic extracted from banana tree stems.

This group of students used discarded banana stems to create biodegradable plastic. This source of raw material is not only environmentally friendly, ensuring the health of users, but also cheaper than plastic made from other sources.

The project can create diverse products from biodegradable plastic such as household items, decorations, children's toys, school supplies...

The final round of the Beehive Startup Challenge 2024 student startup competition organized by FPT Polytechnic College Danang in collaboration with Lien Chieu District Youth Union (Da Nang).

The competition targets innovative startup ideas, enhancing the application of science and technology and diversifying fields including biotechnology, traditional craft village development, healthcare, and manufacturing with a focus on positive social impact.

Outstanding projects will continue to receive incubation support at the Danang Business Incubator DNES and connect resources for continued development.
