Sharing about the first working day of the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference, along with highly appreciating the organization of the conference with a very practical theme, National Assembly deputies, young People's Council deputies and youth delegates from many provinces and cities across the country emphasized: not only affirming the professionalism of the Vietnamese National Assembly in organizing international events, the conference has opened up opportunities for Vietnamese youth to exchange, share, and seek the most optimal solutions, towards the goal of building a peaceful, prosperous world and solving global challenges.
National Assembly Deputy, Lao Cai Provincial People's Council Delegate HA DUC MINH: Expectation that a global network of young parliamentarians on innovation will be established At the 12th National Congress of the Youth Union, term 2022 - 2027, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a message: "Young people must be pioneers in labor, production, innovation, implementing the policy of promoting national digital transformation; developing the digital economy on the basis of science and technology, innovation". Reality also shows that, along with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, science and technology have played an increasingly important role in social life; applying technical advances and digital transformation are inevitable trends. Therefore, I believe that the theme of the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians: "The role of youth in promoting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals through digital transformation and innovation" is very practical, closely linked to reality, affirming the core, pioneering, and pioneering role on the "front" of digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship of young people. 
According to the conference program, the discussion part only lasted for 2 days, but with the careful and scientific preparation and organization of the program from the host country Vietnam and the high sense of responsibility, the key issues related to digital transformation, innovation, and startups were mentioned by the delegates in a comprehensive and comprehensive manner. Right on the first working day, many proposals on policies and solutions to perfect the innovation institution, test new models, deploy new applications, digital platforms to accelerate digital transformation; popularize digital connectivity, raise digital awareness, digital culture and digital skills for people, narrow the digital gap and ensure fair access to technology... were put forward by the delegates. Thereby, together aiming to find and build the most optimal solutions to achieve the goal of "leaving no one behind" in the digital environment and ensuring sustainable development. I hope that after the conference, the IPU will study and establish a global network of young parliamentarians on innovation to bring more opportunities to exchange and learn from each other's experiences, together to do better in legislative work in general and the content of the conference in particular. I highly appreciate the organization of the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians' Conference. The Vietnamese National Assembly has made very careful preparations, early and from afar, showing great interest in this conference. The extremely methodical organization on the largest scale ever, attracting nearly 500 delegates (of which, more than 300 international delegates registered to attend) and many rich and diverse sideline activities... has shown the professionalism in organizing international events of the Vietnamese National Assembly. Through that, it also clearly affirms the role, influence and great contributions of the Vietnamese National Assembly in the largest multilateral parliamentary organization in the world. Through contact, young parliamentarians from many countries and territories around the world highly appreciated the organization and said that they were truly honored to attend the event organized by the Vietnamese National Assembly. At the same time, I was surprised by the careful preparation of the host country and look forward to attending many events organized by Vietnam in the future. From the perspective of a domestic delegate, attending the conference and directly interacting with young parliamentarians from other countries, I learned confidence and efforts to improve knowledge from young international parliamentarians. Through the conference, we received more achievements in digital transformation and innovation. As a young elected representative, I will strive to study and improve my knowledge about digital transformation and innovation. As a young delegate attending the conference, I personally consider this an extremely necessary activity for young people and students. Through that, we can see the deep concern of the National Assembly for its members and the essential issues of young people. At the conference, young parliamentarians and youth delegates had a practical and comprehensive approach to the issue of enhancing digital capacity for young people in the world as well as in the country. The discussed contents reflected diverse aspects of digital capacity, expanding different perspectives of young people around the world; helping us to understand more deeply the importance of digital capacity - a relatively new concept in Vietnam. On the first working day of the conference, I was very impressed that young parliamentarians around the world had a very comprehensive and in-depth view of this current and urgent issue. High-quality human resources with the ability to adapt and master technology promote the digital transformation process of enterprises and organizations, and more broadly, the whole country, but still have to be associated with historical traditions. The conference brought a strong and determined start, predicting good results. Through that, it demonstrated the strengths and roles of Vietnamese youth in the process of promoting digital transformation, highlighting the stature of Vietnamese youth organizations compared to youth organizations of countries around the world. I hope that the conference will be a call for the young generation to commit to a global digital transformation present and future, maximizing the strengths and intelligence of young people. Not only that, I hope that after the conference, we will promote respect for cultural diversity, promote the role of culture in the context of technological transformation and globalization associated with sustainable development.
