According to the report of the Provincial Business Association, in 2024, the whole province received 2,624 applications. Of which, 364 new enterprises and 221 affiliated units were registered with a total registered capital of more than 3,171 billion VND. The number of newly registered enterprises decreased by 31.6% compared to the same period in 2023. The total number of enterprises operating in the whole province up to now is over 3,400 enterprises. In 2024, the Provincial Business Association has done a good job of signing and agreeing on activities to support businesses and workers; organizing training courses to improve knowledge and skills for businesses in the province; doing a good job of developing members; organizing the first Quang Tri Provincial Business Association tennis tournament - 2024; focusing on social charity work... Doing a good job of the Program "Joining hands to take care of martyrs' cemeteries at the commune level" with the support of over 700 million VND from 2021 to present for communes managing martyrs' cemeteries in the province.
In 2025, the Provincial Business Association will continue to grasp the difficulties and obstacles in policies and mechanisms as well as the difficulties of enterprises to reflect to local authorities at all levels and relevant agencies to create favorable conditions for enterprises to operate better. Provide support for the establishment of grassroots business associations in localities and business associations by industry and profession in the area.
Coordinate with the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and VCCI Da Nang to connect tours, promote trade, and introduce products to businesses through organizing delegations to visit other provinces; coordinate with the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to organize trade promotions such as seminars and fairs at home and abroad to introduce and promote products and services of businesses in the province... Continue to implement the support work for the Program "Joining hands to take care of martyrs' cemeteries at the commune level".
At the conference, the Provincial Business Association Executive Committee voted to elect two additional members to the Provincial Business Association Executive Committee. Director of Quang Tri Telecommunications Ha Phu Thinh was elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association for the 2021-2026 term.
