Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang requested the Steering Committee of 35 provinces to promote the results achieved in 2024, continue to clearly identify specific tasks of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the coming time, in which it is necessary to analyze and clarify each specific issue that public opinion is interested in so that people can grasp the nature of the matter, thereby orienting to create consensus in society. On the other hand, resolutely and persistently fight against erroneous and distorted viewpoints and arguments of hostile forces, promptly orienting public opinion to build and develop the homeland and country in the right path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and the People.
In the immediate future, step up propaganda of the Party's policy on streamlining the apparatus of the political system in the spirit of the Central's orientation as well as well organize the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensure national defense and security and Party building of the province in 2025.
Officials, civil servants, public employees and party members continue to improve their professional qualifications and political theory to successfully complete assigned tasks, bringing Quang Tri province into an era of growth with the country.

The report at the conference stated: In 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee 35 issued and advised on the issuance of 73 leadership and direction documents and periodic and ad hoc reports, and at the same time received 55 notifications on the situation and results of the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting, preventing and handling information against the Party, the State and the regime in cyberspace and leadership and direction documents to implement the tasks and work of the Central Steering Committee 35.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - the standing agency of the 35 Provincial Steering Committees continues to guide local press agencies, resident offices and central and sectoral reporters operating in the area to strengthen positive information dissemination, fight against wrong views and distorted arguments of hostile forces. Continue to advise on organizing conferences to disseminate resolutions and documents of the central and provincial governments, conferences to provide information to reporters and social opinion collaborators, and news briefings for retired officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee in the province.
The Steering Committee 35 at district level and equivalent continues to direct the maintenance and continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Facebook pages and fanpages of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels to propagate and orient information; direct propaganda work on the radio and television systems, electronic information pages, and social networking sites of agencies and units, especially improving the quantity and quality of news and propaganda articles, fighting and refuting the wrong viewpoints and distorted arguments of hostile forces, orienting public opinion on incidents, events, and information of public interest to local press agencies.
Localities and units continue to focus on innovating propaganda forms, integrating propaganda of Party directives, resolutions, and regulations, providing current information, correcting false information that is spreading through conferences, emulation movements, voter meetings, direct dialogues between leaders at all levels and the people, mass organization activities, ideological activities under the flag, thematic activities, and party cell activity forums into the content of inspections and supervisions by Party committees; coordinate with the Young Theory Club to organize thematic talks on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation.
The conference spent most of its time discussing and pointing out the causes of the results achieved as well as the shortcomings and limitations, and proposed 7 key tasks for 2025. In particular, seriously and effectively implementing Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW dated July 25, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 35 dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo; Plan No. 23 dated October 11, 2024 of the Secretariat on implementing Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW; Instruction No. 03 dated October 28, 2024 of the Central Steering Committee 35 and Plan No. 183 dated December 25, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on implementing Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW, at the same time proactively grasp the situation of hostile forces' sabotage activities, resolutely and persistently fight uncompromisingly against reactionary subjects, political opportunists, promptly and effectively refute erroneous viewpoints, distorted arguments, and sabotage of the Party, State, and regime.
At the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Dai Nam thoroughly grasped Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW and Plan No. 183 dated December 25, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; discussed and suggested some ways to help Steering Committee 35 of localities and units to well perform assigned tasks in the coming time.
