Inspection of compliance with regulations on entry and exit in Quang Ngai

(Baoquangngai.vn)- Within 30 days, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security will conduct an inspection of compliance with legal regulations in the fields of entry and exit; terrorism prevention and control; and protection of important national security works and targets in Quang Ngai.

On the morning of March 18, the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security Inspectorate led by Major General Nguyen Xuan Hong - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security had a working session with the Provincial People's Committee on the announcement of the decision to inspect the implementation of legal regulations in the fields of entry and exit; anti-terrorism and protection of important national security works and targets for the Provincial People's Committee and its affiliated agencies and units. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien received and worked with the delegation.

Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Police, leaders of departments, leaders of Quang Ngai City, Duc Pho Town, Binh Son District and related agencies, units and enterprises.

At the meeting, Major General Nguyen Xuan Hong - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security announced Decision No. 35/QD-XO5 dated March 10, 2025 of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security on Inspection of compliance with legal provisions in the fields of entry and exit; prevention and combat of terrorism and protection of important national security works and targets to the Provincial People's Committee.

Within 30 days, the delegation will inspect the compliance with the provisions of the law on "Entry, exit, residence of foreigners in Vietnam; exit, entry of Vietnamese citizens; anti-terrorism; protection of important works and targets of national security" for the Provincial People's Committee and its affiliated agencies and units: Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Police; Department of Health; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Quang Ngai City People's Committee; Duc Pho Town People's Committee; Binh Son District and communes, wards and towns under the inspected district-level People's Committees; important works and targets; agencies and organizations inviting and sponsoring foreigners to work in the locality and accommodation facilities with foreigners staying in the province. The scope of the inspection is from January 1, 2022 to the time of inspection. During the inspection, the delegation will work with relevant agencies and units.

Major General Nguyen Xuan Hong requested the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the units under inspection to review, edit, and supplement information and data in the reports and send them to the delegation for research and evaluation. The delegation also hopes to receive close coordination from relevant agencies and units so that the delegation can successfully complete its assigned tasks. The agencies will assign specific officers to work with the delegation to provide information and data.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien said that over the past time, the province has effectively implemented legal regulations in the fields of entry and exit; terrorism prevention and control and protection of important national security works and targets in the province. Thereby, contributing to maintaining social order and safety to serve socio-economic development. The Provincial People's Committee assigned Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office Nguyen Quoc Viet to be the focal point for working with the inspection team.
