Attending the event were leaders of the Departments of Culture and Sports/Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities in the Central region; representatives of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; the Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Literature and Arts Associations of provinces and cities in the Central region; representatives of the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts, the Hue Museum of Fine Arts; Hue University of Arts; painters, sculptors, photographers, etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference on the morning of June 27, Mr. Ma The Anh, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, said that in the process of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration, artistic activities in general and the fields of fine arts, photography and exhibitions in particular have had strong developments and are one of the important fields of culture and arts.
In recent times, state management of fine arts, photography and exhibitions has been carried out systematically and effectively by authorities from the central to local levels, creating a healthy cultural environment, meeting the people's need to enjoy art and culture.
Many fine arts, photography and exhibition activities are held at home and abroad, contributing to improving aesthetic tastes, introducing and honoring traditional cultural values, and promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam.

The Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions shared that, in addition to the achieved results, the management of the fields of fine arts, photography and exhibitions has encountered some difficulties and problems, and many agencies and units are still confused in management. Therefore, the organization of this training conference is very important.
"The purpose of the training conference is to equip the staff working in cultural management in the fields of fine arts, photography, and exhibitions with relevant legal regulations. The content of the training program focuses on providing and equipping in-depth knowledge about regulations as well as new points of legal documents; difficulties and problems arising from institutional reasons or from practice and solutions to overcome them," said Mr. Ma The Anh.
The conference is also a forum for delegates to exchange and discuss relevant information, difficulties, shortcomings and specific characteristics of localities encountered in the process of implementing state management work, thereby jointly solving practical problems in the past time.

At the conference, delegates were informed of a number of contents such as: legal documents specialized in fine arts, photography, exhibitions and other relevant legal documents; Deploying legal documents, Directives of the Prime Minister, of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on strengthening state management of a number of cultural and artistic activities; Strengthening policy response capacity and researching to perfect institutions in the fields of fine arts, photography, exhibitions...
Delegates also made proposals, recommendations and solutions to resolve practical difficulties in recent times, contributing to the practical implementation of the task of managing fine arts, photography and exhibitions more and more effectively.
On June 28, delegates went on a field trip to the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
