Create opportunities for students to access training programs of the world's leading universities

On the afternoon of September 28, in Hanoi, the National Economics University held the opening ceremony of the 3rd course of Finance and Management, an international bachelor's program jointly organized by the National Economics University and La Trobe University, Australia.

The international bachelor's program jointly organized by the National Economics University and La Trobe University is an advanced training program, taught entirely in English, with lecturers who are professors, associate professors, and doctors trained in advanced countries and have extensive experience from both universities.

Notably, students of the program can study all three years at the National Economics University or study two years at the National Economics University and then transfer to Australia to study one year. Upon admission, they are given an account and have full rights of regular students of La Trobe University. Although they are at the National Economics University, students can access all data and libraries of La Trobe University to serve their studies and research under the regular guidance of La Trobe University staff in Australia and program staff at the National Economics University.

In addition, students have all the rights of students of the National Economics University such as: participating in activities of the Youth Union, Student Association, developing the Party, clubs, using the library and other facilities serving students at the National Economics University... If transferring to Australia to study the third year, students can choose to study a number of majors other than Finance and Management. After graduation, students are also considered for a work visa by the Australian Government.

Outstanding new students receive scholarships from the program.

On behalf of the new students of the third course, new student Le Cong Vinh expressed his gratitude to the teachers and parents present at the opening ceremony; and shared the reason for choosing the program. According to Le Cong Vinh, the National Economics University is Vietnam's leading university in economics, management and business administration and La Trobe University - Australia's leading public university and is in the top 1% of the best universities worldwide. This place helps me become the best version of myself, so that I can realize my dreams and aspirations. Together with all the new students, I will strive to excel not only in my studies but also in life.

The leader of the Institute of Banking and Finance, National Economics University said that all students of the international bachelor's program jointly organized by the National Economics University and La Trobe University will be awarded a 30% scholarship upon admission (this scholarship is deducted directly from the tuition fee).

At the opening ceremony, businesses and scientists awarded 43 scholarships worth a total of 172 million VND to 14 new students with excellent results in the entrance exam, 19 students with excellent academic achievements and 10 class officers and active union members of courses 1 and 2.
