Bac Kan youth attend the "Youth for National Security" Camp in the Northern region

BBK- From March 14-16, Bac Kan Provincial Police coordinated with Bac Kan Provincial Youth Union to organize a delegation to attend the "Youth for National Security" Camp in the Northern region, jointly organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the Central Police Department Historical Site, Dong Son village, Minh Thanh commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province.

The camp had the participation of 30 provincial and municipal youth unions in the Northern region; 54 units under the Ministry of Public Security and guest units.

Representatives of Bac Kan youth participating in the Camp respectfully offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, the heroic martyrs of the People's Public Security Forces and the "For National Security" Monument at the Central Public Security Department Historical Site.

Participating in the camp, Bac Kan delegation had 20 members. These are exemplary cadres, union members, and soldiers in working, studying, and training of the youth of the whole province. At the camp, Bac Kan delegation participated with the theme "Bac Kan Youth for National Security" with the desire to bring the enthusiastic spirit of youth in the work of building and protecting the national security.

Mr. Trieu Tien Trinh, Secretary of Bac Kan Provincial Youth Union, introduced to the delegates the "Uncle Ho with Youth Volunteers" statue cluster, the highlight of Na Tu historical relic site.

OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Bac Kan province were introduced at the festival.

At the camp, the Bac Kan delegation actively participated in a series of practical and meaningful activities such as: Journey to the source, political activities, visiting historical and cultural relics in Tuyen Quang province; exhibition of works, models, and images of the traditional history of the People's Public Security Forces, about young people volunteering to protect national security; exhibition of virtual reality, digital technology, digital citizen practice experience; camp decoration contest, photo contest "Youth Moments"; program "Youth Action Festival for National Security", "Lighting up the dream of reform", "Youth Culture and Sports Festival", "Traditional campfire exchange...

Bac Kan delegation won 1 second prize in men's individual and 1 third prize in women's individual pole pushing at the "For National Security" Camp.

The camp is an opportunity for people of all walks of life and young people to better understand the 80-year history of building, fighting and growing up of the People's Public Security Forces, the significance of the "All People Protect National Security" Festival; strongly promote the role of youth in participating in ensuring security and order and building the "All People Protect National Security" movement. At the same time, it arouses pride, encourages and motivates the young generation of the People's Public Security Forces to make more efforts in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building a clean, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security Force to meet the requirements of the new situation.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize a ceremony to honor 80 outstanding young police officers of communes, wards and towns in 2025.

In Bac Kan province, Senior Lieutenant Hoang Ngoc Dan, born in 1995, Deputy Chief of Bang Thanh Commune Police (Pac Nam), was honored to be one of 80 outstanding young police officers of communes, wards and towns with outstanding achievements in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level in 2025.

Senior Lieutenant Hoang Ngoc Dan was awarded by the Ministry of Public Security as an exemplary commune-level youth police officer.

As Deputy Head of the Commune Police, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Dan always excellently completed his tasks in the fields of security, social order, movement building and national security protection; fire prevention and fighting; justice; traffic safety, public order; vehicle registration and management... Besides, in his role as Secretary of the Commune Police Youth Union, he is always enthusiastic and devoted to movement and volunteer activities in the locality.

The 80 young police officers of communes, wards and towns honored at the program are typical and excellent examples among more than 34,000 young police officers working and fighting at the grassroots level. They are the "3-stick-to-it" and "4-together" commune police officers, living in the hearts of the people, effectively implementing the "skillful mass mobilization" movement, contributing to ensuring security and order in strategic and key areas; being close to the grassroots day and night, grasping the local situation, being resourceful and brave in preventing and fighting all kinds of crimes.../.
