Online conference to disseminate Central directives

On March 19, Long An Provincial Party Committee held an online conference to disseminate the Central and provincial directives on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources. Attending the conference were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Quyet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission - Hoang Dinh Can, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam.

At the Conference, delegates were informed of the guiding documents of the Central Government and the province, including Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Conclusion No. 115 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo (term XII) on improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources.

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Quyet requested that Party committees, Party organizations and leaders and Party members participating in the study need to deeply understand the special importance of developing science, technology and innovation. At the same time, focus on doing a good job of disseminating, thoroughly understanding and propagating widely throughout the Party, the people and the army about the contents of the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee and the Program of the Provincial Party Committee; Focus on training, have mechanisms and policies to attract and develop human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the fields of science, technology and innovation. Regarding the contents related to Resolution No. 57, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to urgently study and advise on adjusting the operating model of the Provincial Steering Committee to suit the model of the Central Steering Committee.
