On March 22, the Thu Duc City Area Team, Ho Chi Minh City Police are clarifying the case of disturbing public order at Thu Duc station area (Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line) between a technology motorbike taxi driver and station security to handle.
Previously, a clip posted on social media recorded the image of a security guard at Thu Duc station using a plastic chair to fight with a motorbike taxi driver wearing a yellow shirt. The two sides fought fiercely, causing many people in the station area to worry. Only when many people intervened did the two people stop fighting.

Receiving the above information, Ms. Van Thi Huu Tam, Deputy Director of Urban Railway Company No. 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the unit operating and managing the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line, confirmed the above incident.
According to verification from the management unit, at the above time, the technology motorbike taxi driver was smoking and throwing cigarette butts near Thu Duc train station, so the security guard came to remind him, because the above behavior could easily cause a fire in a crowded area. However, the technology motorbike taxi driver did not listen and argued, leading to the above incident.
“The incident is being clarified by the authorities, however, the metro management unit has temporarily suspended the security guard involved in the above fight. The metro management unit also warns passengers that during the dry season, fires can easily occur if people are careless in using fire in the station area, such as throwing cigarette butts around, which can easily lead to fire and explosion. Therefore, passengers as well as those who pick up and drop off passengers at metro stations need to comply with fire prevention and fighting measures to avoid unfortunate consequences,” said Ms. Tam.
