The Vietnamese Costume Festival “Green Hair and Ao Dai” attracted thousands of participants to experience more than 30 booths and 40 Vietnamese cultural practice units from the three regions of North - Central - South.
In addition to the Ao Dai exhibition and display, many other special programs take place in parallel, such as: talk show "Application of Vietnamese cultural materials"; talk show on Hat Boi art "Sac - Dien - Ca - Xang"; Discussion on Vietnamese costume brands of the North - Central - South; Southern art performance (Southern Melody Club, Cham Pa and Khmer art performance (Chiem Thanh Vuong Cac); Traditional lantern painting workshop (Painter Am Che); Calligraphy performance (Xuan Thanh Calligraphy)...
Professor Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, Principal of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that in the context of strong integration with the world and the trend of globalization, costumes can help identify the unique characteristics of a nation. “The Vietnamese Costume Festival is a harmony of tradition and modernity.”
Thai Phong Thanh, a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences - Hong Bang International University, was very excited to participate for the first time.
“Through the festival, we students are very proud of our nation's unique traditions,” Phong Thanh said.
