After quitting his job at the Hanoi Drama Theater, on May 14, 2024, actor Hong Dang surprised everyone by continuously sharing new moves on social networks. The actor born in 1984 also organized a livestream reviewing the features and advantages of the VinFast VF 3 car with a few of his friends on his personal page.
Hong Dang expressed his excitement: "The live stream was so much fun because today we received support from so many people." After stopping his artistic activities, Hong Dang supported his wife in running a restaurant and switched to selling used cars. Previously, when a netizen commented under Hong Dang's car sale post: "Everyone will eventually sell cars", the actor clearly stated his point of view: "Any job is fine, as long as it doesn't scam or steal."

The vermicelli with pork fat restaurant was opened by Ms. Anh Dao - wife of actor Hong Dang - in 2021 on Hai Ba Trung Street (Hanoi). But later, this location was overloaded, so the actor's wife moved the business location to Tran Huy Lieu Street.
The crab noodle shop of Hong Dang’s wife is not only known by many domestic food lovers but also attracts the attention of many foreign customers. Many people also post the address of the shop on some review sites (product reviews) of Chinese tourists, so many customers coming to Hanoi come to the shop to enjoy.
Recently, many people who came to the restaurant were surprised when the actor from the movie "Love on a Sunny Day" brought noodles to their table. The actor told Dan Tri that he did not hesitate to go to the restaurant to help his wife with her business.
While the staff were serving inside, Hong Dang pushed his motorbike onto the sidewalk for the customers. The actor confided that he had recently received a number of film offers and was considering which role would be suitable for him to return to the set. Many customers came to eat, took photos and posted them on social media to check-in, helping the restaurant become more well-known.
Hong Dang said that if possible, he and his wife will expand their business and build a chain of vermicelli soup with pork fat shops to serve diners in many places.
