Touching music night 'Mach nguon vi, giam' honors 5 talented musicians of Nghe An

The music night aims to pay tribute to five talented musicians from Nghe An: Nguyen Van Ty, Nguyen An Thuyen, Nguyen Trong Tao, Nguyen Tai Tue and Hong Dang.

Speaking at the performance, Dr. Le Doan Hop - Former Minister of Information and Communications was moved to share: The 5 musicians of Lam Giang land honored today are all those who have made worthy contributions to the treasure of Vietnamese music; they are the pride of the people of Nghe An. Although they have passed away one by one, the imprint of their lives and immortal musical works, sweet lyrics, melodious and profound notes imbued with the folk songs of Vi and Giam still move forever in the minds of all of us. The music of the musicians has accompanied and flourished with the nation, creating bright milestones in the cultural flow and spiritual life of the people.

“The art night “Mach nguon vi, giam” is a great musical feast imbued with the folk songs of Nghe An, delighting fans; it is a night of Vi, Giam folk songs rich in flavor, quintessence, and sweetness like a mother’s lullaby, like the cool water of Lam River, like the high peak of Dai Hue Mountain, all with full flavor, blending, resonating, and spreading to satisfy the wishes of the 5 musicians in eternity; bringing the musicians back to their colleagues, the public, and their homeland” - Dr. Le Doan Hop said.

The program “The source of Vi and Giam” is divided into 3 parts. Part 1 is titled: “Dreaming of the countryside”; Part 2: “Melody of love” and Part 3: “The melody of the country”.

Although there was a careful selection to bring to the music-loving public songs associated with the names of each musician, the program only introduced songs that are a small part of the massive musical legacy of the 5 late musicians such as: A heart-felt song of a Ha Tinh person, Du am, Me yeu con by musician Nguyen Van Ty; Mo que, Tieng hat giua rung Pac Bo , Xa khoi by musician Nguyen Tai Tue; Bien hat chieu nay , Hoa sua, Ky uc dem by musician Hong Dang; Khuc hat song ...

The above selected compositions are performed by famous singers such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Tien Lam, Meritorious Artist Duc Long, singers Thanh Tai, Dinh Trang, Bui Le Man, Huyen Trang...

"Mach nguon vi, giam" is directed by People's Artist Le Tien Tho, with musician An Hieu - son of the late musician An Thuyen as art advisor, and Nghe An Radio and Television Station in charge of production./.
