Construction of the bridge in Vinh Hoa Phu commune started

Construction of A Di Da 17 rural traffic bridge started in Vinh Dang hamlet, Vinh Hoa Phu commune, Chau Thanh district (Kien Giang).

A Di Da 17 Bridge is 20m long, 3.5m wide, and has a load capacity of 3.5 tons. The estimated cost of building the bridge is 190 million VND, of which the Buddhist group in Minnesota (USA) sponsored 130 million VND, the rest is from the state budget and local people.

On this occasion, the Farmers' Association of Kien Giang province donated 20 nano-technology water filters to disadvantaged households in Vinh Hoa Phu commune.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Farmers' Association of Kien Giang province has mobilized the construction of 4 rural traffic bridges in Chau Thanh, Hon Dat, and An Minh districts, of which 3 bridges have been inaugurated and put into use; the total cost of mobilizing benefactors inside and outside the province to contribute more than 900 million VND.
