Convey meaningful messages
At the program, Captain Phan Huu Trung Quy shared: “I myself did not have the opportunity to experience the student environment due to the nature of being a soldier, but I understand that the cause of building and defending the Fatherland is the duty of all people. To do that, each young person needs to start from the simplest things, know how to take responsibility for themselves, integrate into the collective and actively contribute to society.”
Dr. Pham Thanh Tuan Anh emphasized the role of the young generation in developing the country: “Today's young generation is the core in the work of building, protecting and developing the country. The important thing is that we need to develop ourselves, constantly learn, create and preserve the core values of the nation. At the same time, we need to learn new things from the world, find the most effective way to contribute to society.”
Miss Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau shared her views on nurturing the mind and soul: “I think that mind and soul are precious values that need to be preserved and promoted. When you are healthy from within, you can clearly feel your responsibility to the community. Volunteering is not only a contribution, but also a way to spread love and inspire people positively.”
MC Khanh Vy emphasized the importance of equipping ourselves with knowledge for international integration: “In addition to patriotism, we need to learn and respect different cultures in the world. When learning a foreign language, we not only learn how to communicate but also learn to appreciate our mother tongue and the cultural values of our nation. The important thing is that in the integration process, we must always maintain our "roots" for sustainable development.”
Muay Thai athlete Huynh Ha Huu Hieu shared that training and competition days take up all of her time. Her coaches often remind her that winning a championship is difficult, but maintaining it is even more difficult. That motivates her to always strive to maintain long-term achievements by focusing on training and maintaining a reasonable lifestyle. She always sets the goal of preparing the best for each tournament, not letting any factor affect her performance.
Journey of personal development
Sharing his efforts in the process of self-development, Dr. Pham Thanh Tuan Anh shared that scientific research requires high discipline. Despite the difficulties and challenges, he decided to stay in Vietnam because he received support from Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Agreeing with Dr. Tuan Anh that discipline is not forced but voluntary, Captain Phan Huu Trung Quy said: Only when discipline is maintained, the goals we desire will become reality.
Miss Ngoc Chau also shared that from a rural area of Tay Ninh province with many difficulties, she always remembers the image of poor students receiving scholarships from former students on the first day of school. That is the motivation for her to carry out community projects, especially medical projects to help children with serious illnesses.
According to Miss Ngoc Chau, if she doesn’t start now, she won’t know when she can help people. Her goal is to expand connections and bring more opportunities to disadvantaged children.
Khanh Vy affirmed that success comes from constant efforts through the “3R” method - Research, Repetition, Restriction. “You need to always find out what you need, repeat the process to achieve results, and at the same time know how to limit distracting factors to focus on completing your goals,” Khanh Vy emphasized.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University, emphasized that the current era has undergone profound changes. These changes bring both challenges and opportunities, requiring each individual, especially the younger generation, to continuously learn, adapt and promote creativity.
“The theme of today’s talk show raises the issue of the role of the young generation of Vietnam in contributing to the successful implementation of national goals in the country’s new development era. I believe that through the sharing of the speakers, you will learn valuable lessons and practical experiences, helping you to more clearly define the path ahead,” said Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai.
