Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Bui Thang visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in Da Huoai district.

(LĐ online) - On the morning of March 21, comrade Bui Thang - Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee visited the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Phan Thi Tu and a number of typical policy families in Da Huoai district on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025), towards the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Also attending were comrade Duong Anh Ngu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Department of Home Affairs and leaders of Da Huoai district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Phan Thi Tu (Hamlet 9, Quang Tri Commune). Mother Phan Thi Tu was born in 1932, had a husband and a son who were martyrs, sacrificed in the resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism to save the country. She is currently living with her son's family.

Recognizing the sacrifices and great contributions of the family of heroic Vietnamese mother Phan Thi Tu, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee sent sincere thanks to the family. On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Comrade Bui Thang sent wishes of good health to Mother Tu and her family; at the same time, hoped that Mother and her family would continue to be a shining example and a spiritual support for the next generation to follow.

The delegation also visited typical policy families including: Mr. Hoang Xuan Nai (61% disabled soldier), Mr. Nong Quoc Ai (61% disabled soldier), Mr. Bui Ngoc Huynh (4/4 disabled soldier), Mr. Nguyen Duc Cung (4/4 disabled soldier and chemical poison victim), Mr. Vu Duc Nhuan (4/4 disabled soldier) and Mr. Nguyen Cong Phu (4/4 disabled soldier and chemical poison victim).

At the families visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Bui Thang kindly inquired about the health and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

He hopes that war invalids and sick soldiers will always maintain their health, be exemplary, and be a support for their descendants to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, and encourage their descendants to participate in building their homeland to develop more and more.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested relevant departments, branches and local authorities to continue to pay attention to the material and spiritual life and create favorable conditions for families of martyrs, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with meritorious services to the revolution to have a better life, demonstrating the fine tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking water" of the nation.

Receiving affection and meaningful gifts from provincial leaders, the families of heroic Vietnamese mothers and wounded and sick soldiers thanked the attention and encouragement of provincial leaders and all levels and sectors.

This is a source of encouragement for families of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers to continue to strive to promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, make efforts in life as well as in economic development, contributing to building a rich and strong homeland.
