Kinh te va Do thi newspaper once reported that although the Northern Belt Road project in Quang Nam province had started, after many months there was still no construction activity. The investor, Dien Ban Town People's Committee, held many meetings to urge the project but the progress at the construction site has not changed positively.
In particular, the project needs to prioritize completing the section from DH12.DB route (Km3+357.00) in Quang Nam to the approach road to Quang Da bridge (Km4+621.4) before March 29, 2025. The road section is intended to serve the technical traffic opening on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang city and Quang Nam province (March 29, 2025).
Faced with the sluggish situation of the project, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province Le Van Dung requested the People's Committee of Dien Ban town to focus on directing the project management unit, relevant departments, units and localities to actively coordinate and urgently implement compensation and site clearance work.
The investor urgently directed the construction unit to speed up the progress of the project items to connect with the access road to Quang Da bridge. Especially focusing on implementing the section from DH12.DB road to the border of Quang Da bridge.
Quang Nam provincial leaders also affirmed that they must ensure conditions for organizing the technical opening of the Quang Da Bridge project and the bridge approach road on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam - Da Nang.
At the previous meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ha, Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee, requested Dien Tien Commune People's Committee to coordinate with the Land Fund Development Center to develop a progress plan to complete the site clearance from DH12.DB road (Km3+357.00) in Quang Nam to the access road to Quang Da bridge (Km4+621.4). Organize propaganda and mobilize households to comply with the land recovery policy, coordinate and promptly hand over the site to implement the project to ensure progress according to plan.
For contractors, the investor is required to work with the locality and related organizations and individuals to agree on the location of the land for the public road. Develop a detailed construction schedule for the road section leading to Quang Da bridge (Km4+621.4); arrange personnel, equipment and all conditions to ensure the completion of this section before March 29, 2025 from the date of handover of the cleared site.
The Northern Ring Road Project of Quang Nam Province officially started construction on August 24, 2024. The project is invested to complete the traffic system connecting the Eastern and Western regions of the Northern region of Quang Nam Province and Da Nang City, creating momentum for local socio-economic development.
The total length of the project is 4.62km, investing in the construction of the section from the railway overpass (adjacent to Trang Nhat Industrial Park) to Quang Da Bridge, including 2 sections, of which section 1 from the railway overpass (adjacent to Trang Nhat Industrial Park) to DT.605 road, has a length of 1.39km; section 2 from DT.605 road to Quang Da Bridge (adjacent to the project invested by Da Nang city), has a length of 3.23km.
