Quang Nam - Battambang promote cooperation in potential fields of tourism, agriculture, industry and trade

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet thanked the Battambang Provincial Delegation for taking the time to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam Province's Liberation Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that this visit is also an opportunity for the two sides to learn about and realize the signed cooperation contents, especially promoting cooperation in potential fields such as tourism, agriculture, industry, trade, etc.

In the coming time, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet hopes that the two sides will continue to exchange and consult to promote the implementation of cooperation programs, bringing the bilateral relationship into reality, sustainability and more development in the future.

Expressing gratitude for the invitation to attend the important anniversary of Quang Nam, Battambang Deputy Governor Pin Prakad, on behalf of the people of Battambang province in particular and the Cambodian people in general, sent deep gratitude to the Party, State, Government, army and people of Vietnam for helping the Cambodian people escape the Pol Pot genocide.

At the same time, he emphasized that Battambang and Quang Nam provinces have had a traditional sisterhood relationship, upgrading the special friendly cooperation relationship since 2013 with many important milestones. Since then, the Battambang provincial government has always strived to connect and promote the good relationship to deepen.

According to Mr. Pin Prakad, in addition to being known as an agricultural province with a large rice growing area and the largest rice exporter in Cambodia, Battambang has strengths in cultural tourism, eco-tourism... Therefore, he hopes that the two localities will continue to make efforts and promote the development of cooperative relations in areas of strength in the coming time.

In addition, Mr. Pin Prakad hopes that Quang Nam will support scholarships for Cambodian students to study in Vietnam in the fields of tourism, science and technology... On this occasion, Mr. Pin Prakad invited leaders of Quang Nam province to visit and work in Battambang and Cambodia in the near future.
