“Confession of the River” - Art program to open the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025

The art program to open the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 consists of 3 chapters, carrying the message "Confession of the river: Legend of a river; converging rivers; new flow of rivers" expressing tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of promoting Hue Festival 2025, the spirit of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Thua Thien Hue (1975-2025) and the rise of Hue city under the Central Government.

"Colorful night on the Perfume River" - the opening act for the opening program of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 on the banks of the Perfume River.

Attending the program were comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, along with leaders of the Government, ministries, central agencies and provinces and cities in the country.

National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and Hue Festival 2025 are typical cultural-economic-social and tourism events on a national and international scale.

This is also an event associated with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Hue city (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025).

Through the program, we aim to introduce and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam in general and Hue city in particular.

Taking place for more than 90 minutes with the participation of nearly 800 actors, singers, famous artists and the masses, and domestic art troupes, the opening art program attracted the attention of people and tourists to Hue.

This is a special art program, which will be staged grandly, with high artistic quality, with the participation and performances of international art troupes from China, Korea, and Japan.

The performance "Tay Nguyen Love Song" on the poetic Huong River added to the richness of the program, thereby demonstrating the spirit of promoting Hue Festival 2025, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation (1975-2025) and the rise of Hue City under the Central Government.

Artists from the land of Kim Chi participated in performances with many colors, making the festival sparkling and magical.

The program brings viewers to enjoy stories about famous rivers in regions of the country, unique cultural features in each land.

The idea of ​​the script also wants to convey the message that rivers flow into the ocean, symbolizing the country's integration and development, rising up in the new era.

The National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 with the theme "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities" has 170 events organized, including 8 national-level activities, 62 provincial and city-level activities and 102 response activities.

Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hopes to bring a vibrant tourism year with a series of events, festivals, and unique art programs to honor heritage values, while creating opportunities for visitors to experience the harmonious combination of tradition and modernity.

The song “Joining Hands” concluded the opening ceremony and the colorful fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day.
