1. The area for parking gasoline and diesel vehicles must be arranged separately from the area for parking electric bicycles, electric motorbikes and electric cars (collectively referred to as electric vehicles) and have a fireproof partition if deemed necessary. The partition material between the two areas must be fireproof.
The arrangement and placement of vehicles must ensure the width of the escape route, internal traffic routes, vehicle storage density, fire prevention distance to neighboring works according to regulations, the electric vehicle parking area must ensure good ventilation conditions. Do not arrange vehicles near electrical cabinets, electrical equipment, do not arrange vehicles in locations that obscure fire prevention and fighting equipment and tools . Do not charge electric vehicle batteries at the office, operator's house, warehouse, garage, or water pump house.
Do not charge at night. Do not charge beyond the charging time specified by the battery manufacturer. Must use genuine equipment from the manufacturer, do not use equipment of unknown origin or without clear specifications.
2. Regularly self-check fire safety conditions at the facility and at the parking lot. Periodically maintain and service the equipped fire protection equipment and means such as portable fire extinguishers, fire water supply systems (fire hydrants, wall fire hydrants, nozzles, hoses, fire pumps, etc.); automatic fire alarm systems (fire alarm control panels, fire detectors, push buttons, bells, fire alarm lights, etc.); promptly repair, replace, and equip additional fire protection equipment and means that are missing or damaged. Regularly check the electrical system; repair and replace damaged electrical equipment and electrical wires. Install protective devices (fuses, circuit breakers) for the electrical system; do not arbitrarily connect electrical equipment and electrical wires to the garage.
3. You should choose and use electric vehicles that are of guaranteed quality and have been inspected by competent management agencies according to regulations; strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions for use. Charge the battery to ensure fire prevention and fighting safety according to the manufacturer's instructions.
4. You should equip yourself with a portable fire extinguisher specifically for Lithium battery fires (Orion Vinafoam fire extinguisher) ... to quickly reduce the temperature to help extinguish the fire from electric vehicles in garages. If possible, after temporarily extinguishing the fire, move the vehicle to a well-ventilated area, away from flammable objects to avoid causing the fire to flare up. At the same time, you should contact the fire department, clearly stating the fire caused by the electric vehicle battery (if any) to have a suitable fire fighting plan.
