Tay Giang strives to disburse 100% of total public investment capital by 2025

On the morning of March 26, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of national target programs (NTPs), worked with leaders of Tay Giang district on the implementation of NTPs in the district.

According to the report of Tay Giang District People's Committee, the total capital plan for 2024 to be extended to 2025 of the locality is more than 123.7 billion VND. As of March 25, Tay Giang has only disbursed 6% of the capital plan. Regarding the allocation and disbursement of the capital plan for 2025, the total capital plan for national target programs in the area is 100 billion VND, of which development investment capital is nearly 94.5 billion VND, and public service capital is more than 5.6 billion VND. To date, Tay Giang has allocated nearly 74.5 billion VND, accounting for 74.42% of the capital plan, disbursed more than 13.3 billion VND, equal to 13.32% of the plan. Specifically, the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas has disbursed nearly 5.4 billion VND (11.3%). The national target program for sustainable poverty reduction disbursed more than 7.3 billion VND (16.5%). The national target program for new rural construction disbursed 634 million VND (29%).

Tay Giang district leaders said that they will strive to disburse 100% of the total public investment capital in 2025, including the capital allowed to be extended. Specifically, by the end of July 31, they will strive to disburse over 50%, by September 30, disburse over 70%, by December 31, disburse over 95% and by January 31, 2026, disburse 100%.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested Tay Giang to review unallocated capital sources and promptly approve the remaining documents to organize the bid opening. The disbursement must prioritize central capital sources, long-term capital sources and career capital. The District and Commune People's Committees are requested to regularly work with investors, direct the development of disbursement plans and report progress regularly.
