On the afternoon of December 14, in Ha Tinh, Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Skyline group, Ha Tinh Newspaper, Ha Tinh Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize the program "Coloring memories", presenting 130 restored portraits to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.
Throughout the history of building and defending the country, the Vietnamese people have confronted and defeated all brutal invaders. The spirit of patriotism, indomitable will, and sacrifice for the Fatherland have always been nurtured, nurtured, and promoted, becoming a cultural tradition and an endogenous source of strength for our people.
Continuing that tradition, millions of the nation's outstanding children, with a patriotic spirit and a strong, indomitable will, have spared no blood and sacrificed for the noble revolutionary cause.
The war is long gone, but the pain still exists, especially for the families of martyrs. Many who fought to protect the Fatherland never returned, and the only mementos left are old portraits that have been kept by their families for many years.
Over time, the photos gradually become tarnished, damaged or no longer intact. Many families have to rely on the facial features of their loved ones to restore their memorial photos.
With deep gratitude and sympathy for the pain and loss of the families and relatives of the martyrs, Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, Skyline group, Ha Tinh Newspaper, Ha Tinh Young Entrepreneurs Association coordinated to implement the program "Coloring memories" to restore more than 130 portraits of heroes and martyrs and present them to the families' relatives.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, representative of Skyline group, shared that the group members are all very young, although born in peace, they understand the loss and sacrifice of martyrs.
To get sharp and vivid portraits of martyrs, the members worked day and night to restore them with all their gratitude and deep appreciation. The group hopes that the photos will be a deep expression of gratitude to the martyrs and their families.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented nearly 70 photos and gifts to the families of martyrs. For families living far away, elderly or weak relatives or those unable to attend, the Organizing Committee and the local Youth Union will come to present the gifts directly.
Receiving the photo of her son, martyr Nguyen Xuan Thinh, mother Nguyen Thi Nhu (in Thach Tri commune, Thach Ha district) was extremely moved. Despite the cold and rainy weather and her advanced age, she was still present at the Hall, looking at and holding the body of her beloved son who sacrificed himself more than 50 years ago.
Each photo is a story about the love between the departed and the remaining. The warm reception from the martyrs’ relatives and the community has motivated the Organizing Committee, especially the Skyline group, to make more efforts on the journey of gratitude. This is also a meaningful message to remind today’s young generation of their responsibility to preserve and continue the achievements that previous generations have created.
At the program, leaders of Ha Tinh province and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union presented souvenirs to acknowledge and encourage the contributions of Skyline group to gratitude activities in the province in recent times./.
