The rich historical and traditional cultural capital opens up the district with abundant and diverse tourism potential from landscapes, river systems, historical and cultural relics, festivals, traditional craft villages..., including many valuable tourism resources, especially developing eco-tourism products, resorts, and experiencing craft villages.
Coming to Quang Hoa, no one can miss the scenic spots, in addition, cultural tourism associated with historical relics also attracts a large number of tourists. Typically, two festivals have been included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List: Tranh dau Phao Festival in Quang Uyen town, Nang Hai festival in Tien Thanh commune and upgrading Thanh Minh festival in Phuc Sen commune associated with traditional craft villages. In addition to experiencing cultural values, visitors can also enjoy a treasure trove of culinary culture with ingredients exploited from nature, processed in unique ways bearing the imprint of the region with rustic, special dishes: five-color sticky rice, roasted pork... Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development so that cultural heritage becomes an abundant resource for economic growth, Quang Hoa district promotes the exploitation of cultural values to serve tourism development, building a community tourism culture, in which the highlight is homestay tourism, which the district focuses on planning and building. On the basis of focusing on exploiting the traditional cultural values of ethnic communities in the area, community tourism has gradually become a typical tourism product, attracting a large number of tourists from all over the country. The district established and maintained the activities of 20 branches of the association for preserving ethnic folk songs, 131 mass art troupes, 65 folk singing and dancing clubs in communes, towns, agencies and units. Organized 2 classes to teach intangible culture: Then singing, Tinh lute playing and Mong ethnic panpipe and dance in Phi Hai commune. Building a model of a Mong ethnic cultural activity club, 2 models of Then singing clubs, Tinh lute, folk singing, folk dancing, 2 classes to teach traditional handicrafts of weaving, indigo dyeing and restoring traditional costumes, restoring traditional handicrafts of the Nung An people, Phuc Sen commune.
Paying attention to preserving and developing traditional craft villages, 6 craft villages in the district (blacksmithing, incense, paper, palm sugar, conical hats, yin-yang tiles) operate stably; in addition, there are brocade weaving, indigo dyeing... with a long history of formation, producing traditional handicraft products. Craft villages create stable jobs for local households, which is a condition for exploitation to become tourist destinations and experiences. Currently, the district is coordinating with the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark to guide households in the paper-making craft villages of Phuc Sen commune and Phja Thap incense village to pilot production of traditional handicraft products to serve as souvenirs for visitors.
With the goal of promoting the exploitation of tourism potential and strengths, promoting the development of other socio-economic sectors, the district advocates mobilizing human resources, building infrastructure, developing tourism and services. By the end of 2025, it is expected to mobilize about 400 billion VND from the State budget and socialized funding sources to implement investment projects on transport infrastructure; support the development of some tourist destinations; preserve tangible and intangible cultural heritages; develop human resources and educate the community; tourism promotion... Up to now, the district has allocated over 20 billion VND to invest in the construction of traffic works in tourist destinations, support craft villages, historical relics, and cultural preservation to serve the task of developing local tourism, typically: Project "Parking lot at Dia Tren paper-making village, Phuc Sen commune", Project "Road to Lung Sang holy water mine, Hong Quang commune", Project "Traffic road to Ban Giuong hamlet, Tien Thanh commune", Project "Phuc Sen agricultural and specialty wholesale market, Phuc Sen commune" with a total investment of 4 billion VND from the capital of the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, period 2021 - 2025; Project "Supporting investment in Dia Tren paper-making village tourism site, Phuc Sen commune", Project "Supporting investment in community tourism site at Phja Thap incense village, Phuc Sen commune". Investing in technical facilities at community tourism sites: Phja Thap incense making village, Phuc Sen commune and Ban Giuong hamlet, Tien Thanh commune according to Resolution No. 78/2021/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council. In addition to the capital sources allocated by the district, the District People's Committee coordinates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build a check-in point at Ma Phuc pass, Quoc Toan commune; carry out tasks in the Project "Preserving the culture of the ancient Tay village of Ban Giuong, Tien Thanh commune" and the Project "Renovating and embellishing the national historical relic where President Ho Chi Minh and the Border Campaign Command lived and worked at Mr. La Van Ho's house, Da Vi hamlet, Quang Uyen town".
The local cultural value is the persuasive language that brings the image of Quang Hoa further to domestic and international friends. The combination of tourism development with the preservation of traditional cultural identity is the right direction for Quang Hoa tourism to increasingly flourish, creating unique and rich tourism products, attracting more and more tourists to visit and experience, contributing to socio-economic development, preserving traditional cultural values of the locality.
