(VLO) According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (Department of Hydro-Meteorology, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), the ENSO phenomenon is in neutral conditions and is likely to continue from April to June 2025. It is likely that the heat wave in 2025 will not be as severe and prolonged as in 2024.
In Vinh Long province, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, there will be a short-term heat wave in the coming days. The highest temperature will be around 35-360C, and the heat will last for several days.
In addition, at the end of March 2025, there will be a cold spell, so the temperature will decrease. The provincial Hydrometeorological Station predicts that the heat in the dry season of 2025 will not be as severe as the same period in 2024.
