In the first quarter of 2025, Ha Tinh province's export turnover reached nearly 377 million USD, reaching about 16% of the yearly plan and decreasing about 37% compared to the same period in 2024.

The reason for the decrease in the province's export turnover is that Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Iron and Steel Company Limited reduced its steel export volume by 50%. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, Ha Tinh's steel and steel billet export turnover reached nearly 287 million USD, down about 47% compared to the same period in 2025.

Ha Tinh province's export turnover reached nearly 377 million USD.

However, in the first quarter of 2025, the export turnover of many key products still recorded growth compared to the same period in 2024 such as: tea, wood chips, textiles and garments, textile fibers... In the coming time, to promote export growth, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to synchronously implement the province's resolutions on export activities, support businesses in absorbing policies and continue to accompany businesses in trade promotion activities, expand markets, apply technology to production, and effectively exploit incentives from free trade agreements that Vietnam participates in.
