On May 27, Chu Se District Police announced that the unit had issued a decision to temporarily detain two subjects: Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram (born in 1995) and Nguyen Xuan Tinh (born in 1993), both residing in My Thach 1 village, Chu Se town, Chu Se district, to investigate their behavior related to embezzlement of property.
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on May 25, Chu Se District Police received a report from Ia Hlop Commune Police about a theft at the Archives Office of Tran Cao Van High School. The amount of money lost was more than 450 million VND. Upon receiving the report, Chu Se District Police coordinated with Ia Hlop Commune Police to conduct a crime scene investigation.

Through investigation and verification, the police determined that this was a fake crime scene created by the subject to conceal his crime.
Using professional measures, Chu Se District Police conducted a review and discovered that Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram - a clerical staff and treasurer of the school - had many suspicious signs.
During the investigation and investigation, along with the documents and evidence collected, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram confessed to her crime. Specifically, due to losses in the stock market, from the beginning of April 2023 until now, Tram has appropriated more than 450 million VND from the school. Then, she asked Nguyen Xuan Tinh to create a fake scene of property theft to appropriate the above amount of money.
It is known that the money that Tram appropriated came from Decree 116 and Decree 81 to support students in disadvantaged areas. The case is being further investigated and clarified by the Chu Se District Police.
