(CLO) The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association has just developed and issued a plan to organize a number of key activities on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association (April 21, 1950 - April 21, 2025).
Specifically, the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Party Central Committee Office, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies, will be held on June 21 in Hanoi.

Activities in the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day include: National Press Festival, exhibition displaying and introducing achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press taking place from June 19-21 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace - Hanoi, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
The national press forum took place on June 19 after the opening ceremony of the exhibition displaying and introducing the achievements of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace - Hanoi.
The 19th National Press Awards Ceremony will be held on the evening of June 21 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace - Hanoi, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
A special art program to celebrate 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Hanoi People's Committee and press agencies on June 21.
In addition, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, there are also activities: returning to the source where President Ho Chi Minh founded Thanh Nien newspaper in Guangzhou, China in April 2025, chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association and relevant agencies; organizing a working delegation to visit the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district in early May 2025, directed and approved by the Ministry of National Defense.
Activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Journalists Association include: The "Return to the Source" program with activities of offering incense and laying wreaths in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the Memorial House on De Pass, Phu Dinh Commune (Dinh Hoa); visiting the National Historical Site where the Vietnam Journalists Association was founded (Diem Mac Commune, ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen) and Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School (Tan Thai Commune, Dai Tu, Thai Nguyen) will be held on April 20.
The National Conference on Association work and the Conference to summarize the emulation and reward work of the Vietnam Journalists Association in 2024 and the Conference to review the work of supporting high-quality journalism in 2024 will be held on April 21 at La Thanh Guest House, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
