On the afternoon of March 25, at Dabaco Lotus Central Cinema, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province coordinated with the Embassy of India to organize the opening ceremony of the Indian Film Week in Bac Ninh. The film week continues the cultural and artistic exchange activities between Vietnam and India, after the success of the Asian International Film Festival in Da Nang (July 2024) and the 55th International Film Festival in Goa, India (November 2024), which is a clear demonstration of the strong development in the cultural and cinematic cooperation between Vietnam and India. Within the framework of the film week taking place from March 25 to March 28, the Dabaco Lotus Central cinema system will screen 4 outstanding works of Indian cinema, including the films: "Roar of Freedom", an epic story about two revolutionaries fighting for freedom; "Live Only Once", an inspirational work about friendship and meaningful experiences in life; The film “English, My Voice” is a touching story about a housewife’s journey of self-discovery and the film “Wrestler”, an inspirational film about the extraordinary willpower of two female wrestlers and the sacrifice of their father. These are films that are expected to leave a good impression, helping the Bac Ninh public understand more about the country and people of India, thereby further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
