VPS continues to be the king of brokerage market share in the third quarter

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) announced the listed stock brokerage market share in the third quarter of 2023.

Accordingly, VPS Securities continues to hold the top position in brokerage market share with a proportion of 19.92%, far surpassing the companies behind. This is also the 11th consecutive quarter that VPS has achieved the leading market share position on HoSE.

Following behind, SSI ranked second with a stock brokerage market share on HoSE of 10.59%. Similarly, VNDIRECT ranked third with a market share of 7.21%, narrowing from 7.54% in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, TCBS is accelerating for the third consecutive quarter in terms of market share compared to the previous quarter.

Notably, the top 5 market shares on the HoSE floor have swapped positions between Mirae Asset Securities, HSC Securities and MB Securities. These two companies have surpassed Mirae Asset to rise to 5th and 6th place with market shares of 5.09% and 5.06% respectively, while Mirae Asset Securities ranked 7th with a market share of 4.71%.

In addition, VCBS Securities, which was once knocked out of the top 10, has returned to its position with 3.04% brokerage market share in the second quarter of 2023.

Previously, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) also announced the listed stock brokerage market share with the leading companies being VPS, VNDIRECT, SSI, TCBS. Even VPS's market share is still quite far from the second position when recording the figure of 24.51%. Meanwhile, Techcom Securities (TCBS) expanded by 1.2% to 7.87% market share.

Notably, KB Securities Vietnam returned to the top 10 market share in the third quarter of 2023, replacing Bao Viet Securities with a market share of 2.44%.

On the UPCoM floor, VPS also consolidated its leading position in brokerage market share in the third quarter of 2023 when it increased by 2.61% to 27.69%.
