NDO - Since its establishment in 1974 with 19 teachers, staff and more than 600 students, up to now, there have been more than 15 thousand former students of all generations studying and growing up at Chu Van An Primary School (Tay Ho, Hanoi).
On the morning of November 19, teachers and students of Chu Van An Primary School (Tay Ho, Hanoi) held a ceremony to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary.
Chu Van An Primary School was established in 1974. After one year of establishment, in 1975 the school was merged and named Chu Van An Primary and Secondary School. Along with the flow and changes of history, in 1980 it was changed to Chu Van An Secondary School and from 1991 to present it has been called Chu Van An Primary School.
“The 50-year process of building and developing the school is closely linked to the development of the capital's education sector. For many years, Chu Van An Primary School has been known by authorities at all levels and parents for its tradition of good teaching and good learning,” said Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh, Principal of Chu Van An Primary School.
The school always pays special attention to the training and development of staff, focuses on innovating teaching methods, and enhancing the application of information technology in management and teaching. Up to now, the school has basically completed the standardization of the teaching staff, 100% of teachers have qualified qualifications. 100% of the school's classrooms are fully equipped with modern facilities to serve the teaching work well.

In December 2022, Chu Van An Primary School marked the milestone of being recognized as a national standard school at level 1. According to Principal Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh: “The school has invested in modern facilities with 2 computer rooms and 1 smart classroom. Equipment for teaching and learning is guaranteed according to requirements, the computer system is connected to the Internet, the school library is large and beautiful, meeting the research and learning needs of staff, teachers, employees and students. In addition, the school also has a playground, gym, football field, teachers' parking area, toilets, ... spacious and clean.
Over half a century of formation and development, generations of teachers of the school have continuously developed in both quantity and quality of teaching. The team of teachers and staff of the school have good moral qualities, solid professional qualifications, and are always enthusiastic and responsible for the assigned work.
Over the years, the School has contributed to Hanoi's education sector 38 excellent teachers at the City level, 102 excellent teachers at the District level; 84 experience initiatives at the City level, 272 experience initiatives at the District level.
Chu Van An Primary School in Tay Ho District is one of the top schools in terms of primary education quality in the district, having continuously completed its tasks excellently for many years. Teachers also regularly participate in training sessions with experts to update the latest knowledge to promptly supplement students right from grade 1.”
