As of March 10, 2025, Vietnam has a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with 11 countries, including: China, the Russian Federation, India, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Australia, France, Malaysia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

On March 10, 2025, within the framework of General Secretary To Lam's visit to Indonesia, the two countries issued a "Joint Statement on Strengthening Bilateral Relations between Indonesia and Vietnam". As of March 10, 2025, Vietnam has Comprehensive Strategic Partnership relations with 11 countries. These are: China (2008), the Russian Federation (2012), India (2016), South Korea (2022), the United States (September 2023), Japan (November 2023), Australia (March 2024), France (October 2024), Malaysia (November 2024) and New Zealand (February 2025) and Indonesia (March 10, 2025).
