Nghe An: Highlights on May 12

* On the morning of May 12, on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), the delegation of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security visited and offered flowers and incense at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan, Nghe An. On this occasion, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security organized a gift-giving program for 4 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; 16 meritorious people and exemplary policy families; 20 commune police officers under the Nghe An Provincial Public Security with especially difficult circumstances and organized medical examinations, treatment, and free medicine distribution for policy families and poor households in Nam Dan district.

* On the morning of May 12, in Dien Chau district, a thematic voter contact conference between National Assembly deputies and workers and laborers in 2024 took place. On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented "Trade Union Shelter" houses to 5 workers and presented gifts to 30 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND.

* According to the Project on administrative unit arrangement for the period 2023 - 2025, in Nghe An province, it is expected that towns of 6 districts will be merged with 1 - 2 more rural communes to expand space and develop, upgrade urban standards according to the province's general planning.
