On February 14, Mr. Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province and the delegation of Lai Chau province visited and worked with VRG. Responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", VRG joined hands to support the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in Lai Chau province with an amount of 500 million VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, commented: "Rubber in the Northwest region is truly a tree for hunger eradication and poverty reduction in general and Lai Chau province in particular. Currently, the rubber plantations at VRG member units in Lai Chau province are 12,518 hectares; of which 11,156 hectares are exploited, and 1,362 hectares are KTCB plantations. The Group has 2 companies with processing factories in Lai Chau province with a total designed capacity of 10,000 tons/year.
In 2024, the output was 8,584 tons; consumption was 9,450 tons. Revenue was 406.781 billion VND, reaching 104% of the plan. Profit was 48.839 billion VND, reaching 342% of the plan. Contribution to the state budget was 14.951 billion VND, reaching 145% of the plan.
Working scene
The total number of employees as of December 31, 2024 is 2,105 people (1,930 direct employees and 175 indirect employees). Of which, 1,963 are ethnic minorities, accounting for 93.25% of the total number of employees in Lai Chau. The average salary is 6.50 million VND/person/month.
By December 31, 2024, the units have signed contracts with people for 16,525 ha/16,859 ha, reaching 98%; in 2024, the percentage of products shared with people will be 32.3 billion VND.
