Opened in 2014, Cau Giay Park is one of the most modern and well-built parks in the capital. Faced with serious degradation, Cau Giay Park is being renovated and repaired to better meet the entertainment needs of the people.

Cau Giay Park is located on Thanh Thai Street (Dich Vong Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi) with an area of ​​about 6,540 m2, the initial investment capital was 8 billion VND from socialized capital. At that time, Cau Giay Park with 3 areas including children's playground, sports area, lake area and square became one of the ideal destinations, attracting many people in the capital to come to play and exercise.

However, after a long time of operation, many items at Cau Giay Park have seriously degraded, posing a potential safety risk to residents, especially children. The most seriously degraded area is the children's playground. Here, the artificial grass in many locations has been torn and peeled off in large pieces, revealing hard, uneven concrete patches.

The paving bricks on some walking paths in Cau Giay Park are damaged and broken.

Faced with the state of degradation, the People's Committee of Cau Giay District has approved the construction design to be implemented after the basic design (construction drawing design - estimate) of the project to renovate and repair Cau Giay Park with a total investment of 66 billion 280 million VND. It is known that the scale of the project includes upgrading the park with an area of ​​95,282m2; Lake area of ​​14,808m2; Construction area including: rest huts, toilets... about 899m2.

Currently, the construction unit is clearing the first items of the project.

Construction area is cordoned off and warning signs are posted.

Many trees in the park are trimmed.

After renovation, Cau Giay Park promises to become one of the greenest, cleanest and most beautiful parks in Hanoi.

The project is expected to be completed in October 2025.
