Training courses and legal education for ethnic minorities in Quang Binh contribute to raising people's awareness, maintaining political security, and protecting border security.
On November 30, information from the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province said that the unit coordinated with the provincial Department of Justice to organize propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge to ethnic minorities in the border area of Lam Thuy commune, Le Thuy district.
This is an activity under the Project "Promoting the role of the People's Army in participating in the dissemination and education of law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level for the period 2021 - 2027".
The training course was attended by more than 100 delegates including secretaries, village chiefs, heads of the Front's working committee, village elders, prestigious people and people of Lam Thuy commune.
At the training course, the reporters disseminated the contents of the Vietnam Border Law and documents guiding its implementation; the agreement on border management regulations and land border gates between Vietnam and Laos; the Civil Law, etc.
Along with promoting the Law on Marriage and Family, the reporter explained the causes, harms, consequences and solutions for preventing child marriage and incestuous marriage among ethnic minorities.
Previously, this training activity was carried out in Hoa Son commune (Minh Hoa district) and Thuong Trach commune (Bo Trach district) with the participation of nearly 300 delegates who are ethnic minorities in the localities.
