The ceremony took place in a peaceful atmosphere, expressing the wish to turn to Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, remembering the merits of Buddhas, great Bodhisattvas, President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence and freedom.
The festival conveys a message of love, turns one's heart to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, prays for national peace and prosperity, and for the people to be happy.
Within the framework of the festival, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Tinh province presented flowers to Ho Quoc Pagoda and sent best wishes to all monks, nuns, Buddhists and people attending.
The solemn and unique procession on the road recreates the beauty of traditional spiritual culture.
The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Festival at Ho Quoc Pagoda has entered its third year of being held, contributing to preserving and promoting spiritual and cultural values, while spreading love and solidarity in the community. The event takes place over three days, harmoniously combining Buddhist rituals and traditional cultural activities, opening up a space for exchange, positive thinking and moral education.

In addition to the ritual activities, the Board of Directors of Ho Quoc Pagoda organized the awarding of 30 gifts to students of Nghi Xuan High School, to encourage the spirit of overcoming difficulties to excel in studying. This noble gesture contributes to spreading good humanistic values in society.
Solemn sacrificial ritual
Ho Quoc Pagoda, located in the west of Co Dam commune, was built during the period 1515 - 1529, under the reign of Le Cung Hoang - Mac Dang Dung. With a history of hundreds of years, the pagoda is one of the important spiritual addresses, contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional folk beliefs of the land and people of Ha Tinh.
