After two days (October 7-8), the Vietnam Pho Festival attracted more than 85,000 visitors with many good impressions on the Japanese people.
In the cool weather of early autumn days in Tokyo, 85,000 Japanese diners as well as the Vietnamese community came to enjoy the first Vietnamese Pho Festival held at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, Japan.

Along with many locals, Vietnamese people living far from home from all over Japan took advantage of the weekend, traveling hours by subway to come to the Festival.
At the festival, famous Vietnamese pho chefs and artisans brought the quintessential flavor of Vietnamese pho to the land of cherry blossoms.
The organizers awarded prizes to the most popular pho stalls. The results were voted based on diners' scores, including: Pho Hotel Majestic-Pho Sen Sasco-Pho Ta Binh Tay-Banh Mi Viet Restaurant-Quan An Vietnam Mai Hien-Ao Dai Restaurant.
Vietnam Pho Festival 2023 is co-organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Saigon Tourist Group, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association, with the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the support of Japanese friends such as Congressman Aoyagi Yoichiro - Head of the Vietnam-Japan Festival Organizing Committee, Mainichi Newspaper and Vietnamese associations in Japan.
The event also had the participation of Golden Star Anise chefs of the years such as: Nguyen Tien Hai, Nguyen Tu Tin, Pham Quang Duy... and chefs of famous pho restaurants: Pho Dau, Pho Hai Thien, Pho Hotel Majestic Saigon, Pho'S, Pho Sen SASCO, Pho Thin Bo Ho, Pho Thu Duc Golf Course Restaurant, Pho Ta - Binh Tay Food...
