Recently, Suong Nguyet Anh slope (Ward 9, Da Lat City, Lam Dong) has become a place that attracts a lot of young tourists, especially in the morning and at sunset.
At one point, dozens of tourists came to check in at the same time, patiently waiting to have a corner to take photos and film the "Dali trend" that is causing a fever on social networks.
According to research, Dali trend is a series of videos filmed with the music of Sick Enough to Die by MC Mong in 2010 at Cang'er Grand Road, located in Dali city (Yunnan province, China). This is one of the most beautiful roads in Dali.
Taking photos from the slope, visitors can capture the image of the busy road, the clear blue lake and majestic mountains in the distance. Check-in videos here quickly attract millions of views on social media platforms.
Suong Nguyet Anh Slope was discovered to have a shooting angle that creates a beautiful effect similar to Thuong Nhi Dai Dao Street. From this slope, visitors can capture the whole frame with the poetic road of Da Lat, sparkling with lights, in the distance is the giant artichoke flower bud construction in Lam Vien Square.
This slope is not too strange to young people in Da Lat or tourists. This place is considered a free but "expensive" photo spot with a view of the beautiful poetic road and Xuan Huong Lake.
Nguyen Thao Trinh (Vinh Long) just came to Da Lat for the 3rd time to "follow the Dai Ly trend" at Suong Nguyet Anh slope.
"I came here at noon on February 14 but there were still many tourists. This place is very beautiful, cool, you can sit under the pine trees to watch the street and Xuan Huong Lake. This place is inherently very beautiful, worth experiencing. Thanks to the Dali trend, it has become even hotter," Thao Trinh shared.
Mr. Luu Gia Hao (born in 1994), who works in a mobile phone video recording service in Da Lat, has made a series of million-view videos at Suong Nguyet Anh slope.
"This slope has been attracting tourists for many months now. However, when the Dali trend came, the number of visitors increased dramatically, especially from 8-9am and 5-6pm. At many times, there are many tourists, jostling each other, making it difficult to get a satisfactory filming angle. Recently, I often suggest tourists film from 6-7am," said Mr. Hao.
According to Mr. Hao, to have an impressive "trend-catching" video, in addition to choosing the right outfit and timing, visitors also need to know the technique of zooming in with their phones and some video post-production techniques. To shoot beautifully, you should also prepare a tripod to prevent shaking.
If you hire a cameraman, the cost is from several hundred thousand VND/guest.
According to Lam Dong Province Electronic Information Portal, Suong Nguyet Anh Street is 520m long, connecting Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street to Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, with many villas on both sides of the road.
In addition to Suong Nguyet Anh slope, Vietnamese youth have also found many steep terrains that can follow the Dali trend such as the dragon slope on Thuy Van street (Vung Tau), the road in Nhon Hai fishing village (Quy Nhon), Mang Den pine forest (Kon Tum), Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument (Dien Bien)...
A series of check-in videos at these destinations made many netizens think that "Vietnam has so many beautiful places, not inferior to foreign countries".
