Among the 17 initiatives that brought in more than 501 billion VND in profits for the company, engineer Tran Viet Hung is very fond of the initiative "Improving automation of production lines using 4.0 technology" - this initiative brings the company 33.3 billion VND/year in profits (excluding equipment investment costs).

Before engineer Tran Viet Hung's initiative was put into practice, the company used a lot of human resources, errors arose frequently, product quality was not good due to undetected errors, productivity was not high...

“After analyzing the causes and finding solutions, I put into operation new automatic devices to reduce dependence on humans such as multi-joint robots that automatically pick up and drop products into the function testing machine - the effect is increased speed with the shortest time; automatic screw machine, automatic sound testing machine, automatic camera function testing - has reduced human resources, increased accuracy in testing phone functions, improved product quality; output increased from 2,177 products to 2,770 products" - engineer Tran Viet Hung shared. Engineer Tran Viet Hung's initiative has completed the application of 60 production lines of the company in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Next, engineer Tran Viet Hung had the initiative to “Improve the integration of automatic SPEN inspection in image inspection machines”. During the working process, engineer Tran Viet Hung observed that in the production line, employees performed many manual operations, which had the risk of jamming errors, color errors, affecting product quality, etc.

Faced with the above situation, engineer Tran Viet Hung conducted a risk assessment and proposed a solution to automatically check the color of the SPEN pen using a color analysis system, integrating an automatic SPEN opening and closing control mechanism.

Engineer Tran Viet Hung's initiative can be applied to strategic phone models with integrated SPEN such as Note 20, Galaxy S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra; has been put into 20 production lines in the first quarter of 2023; especially can be applied in other Samsung factories around the world... Engineer Tran Viet Hung's initiative has benefited the company 27.9 billion VND/year (excluding the cost of purchasing improved products)...

In addition, engineer Tran Viet Hung has had initiatives that have benefited the company from 30 billion VND/year to 84.2 billion VND/year...

Sharing about the motivation to promote many impressive initiatives, bringing "huge" value to the business, engineer Tran Viet Hung said: "I rely on the knowledge I have and observe on the production site, the difficulties of the employees, from which ideas arise to improve, increase productivity, quality and reduce operations for the employees".

In addition, engineer Tran Viet Hung said that in order not to "fall behind", he always actively studies to improve his professional qualifications to have more innovative initiatives.

He always participates in training courses for senior engineers of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd.; actively improves his English communication skills to exchange with foreign experts to further develop knowledge of automation and new technology; regularly visits other companies and businesses to learn their improvements and gain experience to apply to his department...

Engineer Tran Viet Hung is one of four outstanding union members of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor to be awarded the 4th "Nguyen Duc Canh Award" in 2023 by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - an award to honor workers directly involved in production at units and enterprises of all economic sectors, with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" launched by the Trade Union.
