Dear teachers and students!

Today is the day to honor the achievements of an important milestone of the new PhDs, Masters and Bachelors of the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. We are happy to be present at this special ceremony, and honored to witness that from today you have officially joined the UEB alumni network to confidently walk on the path you have chosen.

Congratulations to all of you who have officially graduated from the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi - where the brand and reputation have been and are affirming international standards. You have the right to be proud of the achievements in studying and training after years of studying at this beloved UEB school.

Throughout the past journey of learning and training, you have strived to complete your learning tasks, overcome many challenges, cultivate and develop your skills and gradually mature.

The time at UEB is not long in the whole journey of life, but it is the time when you have tried your best to gain knowledge and skills as a foundation for your future career and life, and it is a memorable youth with teachers and friends. Teachers are very happy and proud to accompany you on a part of life's journey.

Your success today is also thanks to the support of your parents, family and friends. Be grateful to your loved ones who have always cared for, looked after and supported you!

Dear friends, this year’s graduation season is very special as we witness unprecedented events in history. It is the first time you have experienced the longest Tet holiday in history, the first time you have studied all your subjects online, studying, eating, sleeping, looking after your house, looking after your siblings, and “still understanding the lesson”… The pandemic has forced you to isolate yourself in your studies and daily activities, but you have overcome all those difficulties, to be here today, happy and proud with your graduation certificate in hand.

We are also very lucky that while the whole world cannot hold the 2020 graduation ceremony, students of the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi can still gather together to share the last and most special moments of student life with family, teachers and friends. Teachers are happy to see your bright smiles on this important day!

However, life always poses challenges and only facing challenges will give you the opportunity to succeed. Live, study and work with a sense of responsibility and promote the tradition of UEB. Learn to serve others so that others can serve you - that is what your teachers have done for you. Express yourself, become UEB warriors on all fronts.

There will be times when you stumble, there will be times when you are discouraged, but that is when we learn lessons, stand up strong to move forward. Go ahead, do not be afraid of the storm, so that you can grow up, so that you can change your life. Teachers believe that the courage of UEB students will take you further on the path of life.

Although life is full of storms and thorns, teachers believe that you will strive to overcome those difficulties. Teachers are always here waiting for your next successes. Remember that UEB is always a warm home that is ready to welcome you back. We, teachers, always follow and are ready to encourage and help you on every path of life.

Today’s graduation ceremony will end with beautiful pictures, memorable moments, full of emotions. But today’s graduation ceremony also officially announces to society that a talented class of young people from the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi is ready to use their intelligence to serve the country. From now on, whoever you are, whatever you do, wherever you are, we will always remember that you are indispensable pieces of UEB.
