Vietnam Aquatics Awards 2024 Imprint
The Vietnam Aquatics Awards 2024 Gala took place on the evening of December 24 in Tay Ninh with the theme "Vietnam's aquatic sports imprint". The event aims to recognize and honor the efforts and achievements of athletes, coaches, experts, organizations and individuals in Vietnam's aquatic sports.

Mr. Pham Hong Linh - Chairman of the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association (VASA) shared: "Aquatic sports is a field that faces many difficulties and challenges compared to land-based sports. The team of athletes and coaches of VASA has firmly overcome all challenges and achieved many proud achievements, contributing to raising the position of Vietnamese aquatic sports in the international arena. We are proud of the dedication, devotion, hard work and arduous training of the athletes to achieve today's achievements".
For the first time in Vietnam, a gala was held to honor and award athletes and coaches of aquatic sports.
More than 100 outstanding athletes of Vietnamese aquatic sports were honored at the Vietnam Aquatics Awards 2024. Notable among them are the number 1 male swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang (Quang Binh) and talented female swimmer Vo Thi My Tien (Long An) in swimming. In 2024, Nguyen Huy Hoang won a ticket to the Paris Olympics (France), which was also the second consecutive time he participated in the Olympics through the "main door". He also won a gold medal at the Asian age group swimming tournament, dominating his strong events of 800m freestyle, 1,500m freestyle, 400m freestyle at the national championship. Meanwhile, Vo Thi My Tien also affirmed her position as the number 1 female swimmer in Vietnam and excellently participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In addition, the Vietnam Aquatics Awards 2024 Organizing Committee also honored outstanding athletes in diving: Vu Dang Nhat Nam (male), Cao Thi Duyen (female); in diving: Dinh Anh Tuan (male), Bui Thi Hong Giang (female)...
