According to the above Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long is Chairman of the National Committee on Tuberculosis Eradication (Committee).

Vice Chairmen include: Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health (Standing); Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The members of the Committee include: Mr. Le Van Kham, Standing Member, Social Committee of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Mr. Do Hung Viet, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Minister of Finance; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.

Also present were Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society; Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television; Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet Nhung, Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency; Mr. Dinh Van Luong, Head of the National Tuberculosis Control Program, Director of the Central Lung Hospital and Mr. Vu Cong Thao, Senior Expert of the Department of Science, Education and Culture, Government Office (Member and Secretary).

This Decision takes effect from October 17, 2024; replaces Article 1 of Decision No. 1745/QD-TTg dated December 4, 2019 of the Prime Minister.

The National Committee on Ending Tuberculosis is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing, urging, and coordinating ministries, departments, sectors, and organizations in preventing and controlling tuberculosis to end tuberculosis by 2030, contributing to protecting, caring for, and improving people's health.

The specific task of the Committee is to research and propose to the Prime Minister strategies, directions, solutions, and action programs to address issues related to tuberculosis prevention and control in order to end tuberculosis in Vietnam by 2030.

Assist the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating ministries, agencies and localities in resolving issues related to strengthening tuberculosis prevention and control nationwide; urge ministries, departments, branches and organizations to implement tasks, action programs and activities related to tuberculosis prevention and control to end tuberculosis in Vietnam by 2030; periodically and suddenly report to the Prime Minister on the activities of the National Committee.
