Kinhtedothi - On March 21, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Youth Union organized a celebration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); honored 91 outstanding young party members; honored 10 Outstanding Young Faces of the Capital in 2024.
Attending the program were Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi Pham Thi Thanh Mai...
Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh reviewed the historical milestones and glorious journeys of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and emphasized that in each revolutionary period, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union gradually matured and became the core political organization of Vietnamese youth; it organized and mobilized a strong youth force, revolutionary vanguards, and wrote the glorious tradition of heroic Vietnamese youth.
For the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City throughout its history, it has always inherited and promoted the revolutionary struggle tradition of Vietnamese youth, the heroic, talented and elegant tradition of Hanoi people.
In recent times, with the continuous efforts of 106 affiliated Youth Unions and over 600,000 members, the Hanoi Youth Union has made special and comprehensive marks in all aspects of work. The Hanoi Youth Union is proud to be a unit that has been excellent in many consecutive years in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement nationwide; receiving many noble awards from the Party, the State, the Central Youth Union and Hanoi City.
Emphasizing that in the context of the capital and the country carrying out a revolution in streamlining the apparatus, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh said that the Youth Union organization and its cadres need to proactively innovate, improve operational efficiency, review and rearrange the structure, ensure substantive activities, and align with the needs of union members and young people.
Along with that, the Youth Union cadres need to improve their capacity, sense of responsibility, innovate their thinking, and apply technology to optimize management and operation. Pay special attention to the quality of the Youth Union at the grassroots level, strengthen innovation in the Youth Union's operating methods, digitize the management of organizations, cadres, and members, especially further promote the role of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee at the grassroots level; mobilize strength right on the spot, right from the locality, expand the solidarity front to gather young people, so that the Youth Union can operate effectively, efficiently, and effectively in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Party Central Committee .

At the program, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City organized a ceremony to honor 91 outstanding young Party members of the capital. This is an award to honor the Youth Union cadres who are young Party members with outstanding achievements that have a wide influence in the community.
The 91 exemplary young Party members of the Capital who were honored have portrayed a colorful picture of the young Party members of the Capital: pure-hearted, bright-minded - great ambitions; pioneers, politically steadfast, capable in the new era; always selflessly contributing to the progress of the young generation; for the development of the Capital and the country.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Youth Union also honored 10 Outstanding Young Faces of the Capital in 2024 with outstanding young people in the fields of study, scientific research, economic development, national defense - security, physical education - sports, culture - arts, and volunteering for community life.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented a Certificate of Merit to Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh for his outstanding achievements in implementing the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, period 2019 - 2023.
