Fire in protective forest in Tuyen Quang, nearly 500 people put out the fire

The area where the fire occurred is a protective forest, belonging to Nghiem mountain, managed by the People's Committee of Hoang Khai commune, Yen Son district (Tuyen Quang province).

The fire broke out at around 12:30 today (March 21). Due to dry weather and strong winds, the fire spread quickly.

Nearly 500 people, including armed forces and local residents, urgently deployed rescue measures. According to Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, fire trucks could not reach the scene, making it difficult to extinguish the fire.

Police, military and local residents have built many firebreaks to prevent the fire from spreading. Currently, authorities continue to be on duty at the scene to come up with a solution and investigate the cause of the fire.

A forest fire is happening in Van Xuan commune, Tam Nong district (Phu Tho province).
