With the goal of connecting the development of domestic markets and agricultural exports in the coming and long-term years, Lac Duong district has expanded high-tech concentrated cultivation areas, meeting the criteria for granting growing area codes associated with processing and consumption industries according to domestic and global value chain standards.

• FORMING 19 PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION LINKAGE CHAINS
Through the review so far, in addition to 4 high-tech agricultural production planning areas, Lac Duong district is implementing a 300-hectare high-tech coffee production area in Lac Duong town; at the same time, new high-tech vegetable and flower production areas including 100 hectares in Sub-area 115, Da Sar commune; 100 hectares in Pang Tieng village, Lat commune are included in the planning. In addition, about 60 hectares of artichoke medicinal plants are being developed; areas for growing shiitake mushrooms, Tipyca, Bourbon, Moka coffee are being built. As of early 2025, the entire Lac Duong district has recognized 28 growing area codes with an area of nearly 115.5 hectares; maintaining a 5-hectare farm economic model...
The whole district of Lac Duong has also formed 19 production and consumption chains for vegetables, tubers, fruits, shiitake mushrooms, Laba bananas, and artichokes. In particular, 5 coffee production and consumption chains have been maintained at K.Ho Production, Trade and Service Co., Ltd., Hoang Thang, ACOM, Tam Trinh Coffee Import and Export, VOCO Trade Import and Export, Chappi Arabica Coffee Cooperative, and Yu M'Nang Facility with a total area of 230 hectares/261 participating households. In addition, 1 beekeeping chain has been developed in Dung K'no commune; 3 strawberry and angelica medicinal herb growing chains in Da Nhim commune; 2 ginseng and red lingzhi mushroom growing chains in Lat commune; 1 vegetable, tubers and fruit chain in Da Sar; 2 passion fruit chains in Da Chais and Lat communes; 4 shiitake and artichoke mushroom chains in the whole district.
According to the assessment of the professional sector of Lac Duong district, the formation and development of the value chain linkage model for production and consumption has initially improved the quality of goods; the budget capital is used effectively and for the right purpose. The investment support objects are in the right category, suitable to the conditions of each locality. Thereby, helping farmers stabilize output and income, feel secure in production, businesses have concentrated agricultural raw material areas ensuring safe quality to invest in processing technology, export...
Notably, every year Lac Duong district mobilizes capital sources to support enterprises in preliminary processing and processing agricultural products such as: vocational training, investment in machinery, labels, and product packaging. Specifically, the whole Lac Duong district has 16 preliminary processing and processing facilities for coffee, artichokes, persimmons, mushrooms, and cordyceps with labels of origin, enhancing brand reputation and competitiveness in the market. Particularly, the OCOP program implemented until February 2025, the whole Lac Duong district ranked 9 4-star products and 69 3-star products.
• PRODUCTION, PROCESSING AND BRAND DEVELOPMENT VALUE CHAIN
There are currently more than 30 OCOP products displayed and introduced at the OCOP Center of Lac Duong district by the following entities: Daisy International Co., Ltd.; Hoang Thang Da Sar; Agricultural Products of Hieu Linh Cooperative Group; DKM High-Tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company; Yu M'Nang Business Establishment; Nguyen Long Joint Stock Company; Chu Mui coffee business households, Da Lat agricultural product households, Larti's Farm business households... OCOP entities are connected to promote trade in Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi. And through the application of information technology, entities participating in selling OCOP products on e-commerce platforms of Lam Dong province, on zalo, facebook, tiktok, shopee, postmart.vn... have gradually affirmed their brands and product quality from the domestic market, aiming for export.
