At Regiment 651 and Brigade 575, the working group inspected the system of documents, implementation plans, preparation of items and contents according to the regulations of the competition; inspected technical facilities, technical areas for motorbikes, technical innovation areas, motorbikes, etc. Through the inspection, the working group recognized that the units had strictly implemented the plans and instructions from above, issued specialized resolutions on leadership in performing tasks of participating in the competition fully and thoughtfully; selected cadres and technical staff with capacity, qualifications, enthusiasm and responsibility to participate in the competition. The working group noted that the units needed to ensure the consistency and standards of each competition item, especially the technical day plan. This is new content compared to previous competitions, requiring a very high level of professionalism.
Concluding the meeting, Major General Duong Xuan Nam highly appreciated the proactiveness and positivity of the agencies and units in the past time. The Director of the Department of Vehicles and Motorcycles requested the Organizing Committee and the Jury of the contest to continue to closely guide the units to focus on the content of directing the implementation of all aspects of preparation right from the grassroots competition stage. Requested the units to consult with the Head of Military Region 1 Command to develop a synchronous plan and regulations for the contest.
Major General Duong Xuan Nam requested the Head of Military Region 1 Command to direct units to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to do well all preparations for the competition; continue to build and consolidate standards for items in the technical area; preserve, maintain and repair weapons and technical equipment; ensure the progress of preparations for the competition. During the preparation process for the competition, units need to ensure the safety of people and equipment, regularly organize inspections and draw lessons so that the competition creates a positive effect and widely spreads the meaning and importance of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment well, durable, safe, economical and traffic safe" (Campaign 50).
On the same afternoon, the delegation of the Department of Vehicles and Motorcycles worked with Military Technical College 1 (Son Tay, Hanoi) on preparations for the opening ceremony, serving visitors and participating in the 2023 Army-wide Good Vehicle and Good Driver Competition scheduled to take place in July 2023.
Military Technical College 1 has completed and added situations to the driving range; consolidated, completed, and renovated items on the driving range; and converted the military car driving test system. In the coming time, the school will consolidate the grandstand area; campus, unit environmental landscape; organize training for teams and security forces to serve the Opening Ceremony and sightseeing; organize practice for driving demonstrations; and consolidate the technical area participating in the competition.
