Colonel Nguyen Que Lam, Deputy Director of the Department of Vehicles, General Department of Engineering, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the contest presided over the judging. Attending the judging activity was Colonel Ha Huy Khanh, Deputy Commander of the Engineer Corps.

According to the plan and regulations of the competition, the unit organized for the soldiers to compete in 4 subjects of the "Good Vehicle" content, including: "Good Vehicle" competition; "Technical area and technical day activities" competition; "Technical improvement topics and initiatives" competition; "Awareness" competition. The mobile jury scored the competition at the unit, specifically checking the books and documents of the vehicle according to regulations; checking the technical condition and synchronization of the vehicle in a static state without the engine running; scoring 14 categories, technical area works; and technical day implementation contents.

With the content of the contest "Technical innovation topics and initiatives", the jury will evaluate based on criteria such as scope of application, benefits for national defense, economy, society, etc.

In the "Awareness" exam, candidates took multiple-choice tests on the newly issued Technical Work Regulations of the Vietnam People's Army; the history of the military's motorcycle industry and wrote essays on solutions to improve the quality of motorcycle technical work and the Road Traffic Law.

Speaking at Brigade 249, Colonel Nguyen Que Lam emphasized the purpose and significance of the contest to improve the quality of preservation, maintenance, repair, storage, and synchronization of technical equipment for motorbikes; improve the level of management, exploitation, use, and compliance with the Traffic Law for officers, soldiers, and technical staff, and improve the quality of the work of building a regular motorcycle engineering sector in units throughout the army. The Deputy Director of the Department of Motorcycles requested that the participants of the contest at Brigade 249 strictly comply with the contest regulations, coordinate closely, organize the contest scientifically, ensure objectivity and honesty in the judging process, and ensure absolute safety for people and technical equipment.

Candidates in the "Technical innovation topics and initiatives" competition presented the application of the topic to representatives of the Organizing Committee of the competition.
The jury evaluates the qualifications, technical expertise, and vehicle maintenance and repair skills of the unit's technical staff.

After the competition, the Engineering Corps will draw experiences to continue effectively implementing the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical equipment" (Campaign 50), maintain and improve the quality and regularity of technical work in general, and technical work on vehicles and motorcycles in particular; the consistent quality of technical equipment and the level of management and exploitation of technical equipment for the team of vehicle and motorcycle technical staff. Thereby contributing to improving the combat strength, training quality and the ability to complete tasks of the unit and the entire branch in all situations.
