Directing the implementation of the contest marking activities, Colonel Nguyen Que Lam, Deputy Director of the Department of Vehicles, General Department of Engineering, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee, Head of the Contest Jury, emphasized that the contest is a major activity of the vehicle engineering sector to continue implementing Resolution 1656 of the Central Military Commission on leading technical work in the new situation and continuing to effectively implement the Campaign "Managing the exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" (Campaign 50).

The contest aims to raise awareness and actions of officers and soldiers of the Military's motorcycle industry, positively change the awareness of compliance with the Road Traffic Law, create unity in the organization and implementation of motorcycle technical work, contribute to building strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" units, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

According to the competition regulations, the Mobile Jury will judge the "Good Car" competition, including 4 subjects: Good Car; Technical Area and Technical Day Activities; Technical Innovation Topics and Initiatives; Awareness. The "Good Car" competition is one of the two main contents of the 2023 Army-wide Good Car and Good Driver Competition.

Deploying participation in the contest, since the beginning of 2023, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army has paid attention to, led, and directed the Logistics Department as the standing agency to ensure logistics and technical work, deploy organization, and participate in the contest. After the grassroots competition stage, a team of outstanding officers and employees in the vehicle engineering sector of affiliated agencies and units has been selected to form teams to participate in the military-level contest with the determination to achieve high results. Brigade 84, Electronic Warfare Department is the unit hosting the venue and participating in the contest.

According to Colonel Nguyen Van Dai, Deputy Director of the Logistics Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Steering Committee for the competition, the 84th Brigade has just built a new barracks. In the preparation process for the competition, the unit has synchronously deployed and built a standard Technical Area, seriously organized the preservation and maintenance of all types of vehicles and motorbikes. The unit is expected to meet the evaluation criteria of the Technical Area of ​​the jury, specifically including items and works such as: Maintenance and repair station; warehouse of technical supplies for vehicles and motorbikes; technical inspection station...

Colonel Nguyen Van Dai added that, implementing the plan to organize the contest for the content of "Good Vehicle", the steering committee participating in the contest invited comrades in charge of technical work of the units to participate in the judging activities, thereby learning and drawing valuable experiences in building discipline in technical work; improving the level of management, command, awareness, exploitation and use of technical equipment for officers, soldiers, and technical staff in ensuring technical safety of vehicles and motorbikes at the units.

During the day, the "Good Vehicle" competition for the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army took place successfully, achieving the set goals and requirements, ensuring the plan and absolute safety of people, vehicles, and technical equipment.

According to the plan, from now until October 6, the jury will continue to judge the "Good Car" content at the remaining units. In mid-October 2023, 37 key units in the entire army will focus on the "Good Driving" content at the Central Technical College, General Department of Technology.
