When mentioning Khanh Hoa, most tourists will immediately think of Nha Trang with its blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine. Yang Bay not only has the pristine beauty of the mountains and forests but is also the intersection between majestic nature and unique indigenous culture. From unique activities such as: bottle-feeding fish, crocodile fishing, mineral mud baths, to the melodious melodies of the lithophone and T'rung resounding in the vast space, all create an unforgettable experience.

THE CONNECTION POINT BETWEEN SEA AND FOREST

Khanh Vinh is located on the main route connecting two major tourist centers, Da Lat - Nha Trang. With its special geographical advantage, this place possesses great potential for developing eco-tourism, community tourism and adventure tourism. Surrounded by vast primeval forests and white waterfalls, Khanh Vinh is an ideal destination for those who love the wild and are looking for a different experience beyond the vibrant beaches of Nha Trang.

Taking advantage of this, Khanh Vinh district is gradually awakening its tourism potential, turning available resources into unique tourism products, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

On weekends, many tourists choose to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and come to Yang Bay to enjoy the cool green space and immerse themselves in nature. As soon as we arrived here, we were amazed by the majestic beauty of the mountains and forests, where the ancient trees cast shade and the silver waterfall splashed white foam from a height of more than 80 m.

The first stop is the 500-year-old sacred tree, a sacred symbol of this land. The sacred tree is actually three large trees intertwined together - a banyan tree, a ficus tree, and a small forest tree growing in the middle - forming a unique shape that more than 20 people can hug around. Locals believe that touching the tree trunk will bring luck and peace.

What makes Yang Bay different is not only the majestic nature, but also the unique activities that are rarely found anywhere else. One of the most memorable experiences is bottle-feeding fish. At the fish pond, thousands of carp compete to suck on the nipples of milk bottles to suck food. The feeling of seeing schools of fish rising to the surface of the water, competing to suck on the bottles like children, really excites visitors. Mr. Nam, a tourist from Ninh Hoa, could not hide his surprise: "I have never seen such a strange and interesting scene! Fish also drink from bottles like babies!"

In addition, visitors can also participate in crocodile fishing, a thrilling but equally attractive challenge. With just a rudimentary fishing rod, you can test your wits with this reptile, creating thrilling and memorable moments.

A PLACE TO PRESERVE INDIGENOUS CULTURE

Yang Bay is not only a destination for nature lovers but also a place to preserve and spread indigenous culture. Here, visitors will admire traditional musical instruments such as stone guitar, T'rung, Taleploi trumpet and immerse themselves in the rustic but enchanting melodies performed by Raglai artisans.

Not only that, Yang Bay also offers many other interesting activities such as: natural mineral mud bath, horse riding, pig racing, Tarzan zipline... helping visitors have more options to experience when coming here.

Mr. Van Ngoc Huong - Chairman of Khanh Vinh District People's Committee said that the district has a high forest coverage rate, many rivers, streams, waterfalls, lakes along with diverse and unique cultures of many ethnic minorities. Traditional occupations such as brocade weaving, handicrafts, agricultural processing... have the opportunity to become products serving tourists. "Khanh Vinh is a unit that started later, from which lessons in land and resource management must be drawn in the planning, lessons in investment work. When it happens, the management of eco-tourism and socio-economic tasks must be done well, and more must be learned. With adequate mechanisms and conditions, Khanh Vinh will have more favorable conditions", said Mr. Van Ngoc Huong.

In fact, in addition to the famous beaches, Khanh Hoa has countless attractive destinations waiting to be discovered. Yang Bay is one of them - a place where majestic nature, unique indigenous culture and unique experiences converge that cannot be found anywhere else. If you have the opportunity to visit Khanh Hoa, do not forget to spend a day to explore Yang Bay - a hidden gem in the middle of the jungle.
